Jhair A. Colan is a first-year medical student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Biology. He is interested in exploring how mixed reality and artificial intelligence can better the pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative management of brain tumors. His other research interests include global health and socioeconomic access to healthcare. In his free time, Jhair enjoys playing soccer, boxing, playing guitar, and traveling with friends and family.
