About

I am a PhD student in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Carnegie Mellon University, where I am advised by Professor Kenji Shimada. I lead a team of Master's students in the development of remotely-operated, robotic surgical platforms. I aim to expand access to minimally invasive, time-sensitive surgeries while improving physician's ability to visualize and understand what is taking place in their patients. I am a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow (NSF GRF), which supports my research. By bringing the cutting-edge of robotics into healthcare, we can make a big difference in our community!
