Sruthi Malineni is an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science and Data Science, with a minor in Neuroscience. She is passionate about leveraging technology to improve healthcare outcomes, with a focus on machine learning, AI, and data-driven solutions in medical imaging and clinical workflows. Sruthi's work in the Surreality Lab includes contributing to innovative projects like developing AI models for automated bone mineral density analysis for application in spinal cord surgeries. Outside of research, Sruthi spends her time as Vice President of Pitt's Women in Computer Science Club and as a teacher assistant for various Computer Science courses. In her free time, she enjoys baking, cycling, and spending time with her friends.
