Yujin Choi is a first year medical student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She graduated highest honors with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in December 2021. Before attending medical school, she spent two years conducting clinical research on prostate and kidney cancers in the Genitourinary Medical Oncology Department at the Emory University School of Medicine. Yujin wants to pursue a career as a physician innovator to apply engineering principles in medicine to improve patient outcomes in various surgical specialties. In her free time, she enjoys figure skating, watching winter sports, dancing, and cooking.
